When Rachel's mom woke up from a medically induced coma after a serious health scare, the first meal she was offered was a burger and Diet Coke. After watching her mom's body fight so hard just to survive, seeing that on her tray broke something open in Rachel - it didn't sit right, and it planted a belief that's never left her: what we eat matters most when our bodies need it most. Losing her mom only made that belief impossible to let go of.

Now raising kids of her own, Rachel wants them to see healthy food as colorful and fun, not a restriction. She knew exactly where to find it: Stay Pressed Juice Co., where she'd long been a loyal customer. When it closed, she felt it, so at the end of 2025, she brought it back to life.

Not long after, she found a partner in Tova, who believes food is how we connect and take care of each other. Together, they're building Stay Pressed's next chapter: cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, smoothies, and açaí bowls made with real ingredients because taking care of yourself should feel like something to look forward to, not a chore.
